TRUFFLE HUSBANDRY

HOW TO PRESERVE TRUFFLES

Fresh Truffles are perishable goods, they have to be refrigerated upon arrival, ideally in the cooler section of the fridge, avoiding the fridge door.

The best way to preserve truffle is wrapping them up in kitchen paper and placing them in a container with the lid (glass jar or plastic is perfect).

Truffles cannot be frozen. They lose smell and taste. We recommend, instead to grate the leftovers trimming and mix them in butter, so you can enjoy the truffle butter up to 7 days later!

Enjoy!
